The Sheik (real name: Edward George Farhat), sometimes called the Original Sheik to differentiate from the Iron Sheik of WWF fame, was an American pro wrestler and promoter who at one point was the top star and honor of his territory in Detroit, which extended into parts of northern Ohio. He was the uncle of Sabu.
